Europe’s newest rail leasing company has taken delivery of its first two Siemens Vectron locomotives. The Vienna-based company ordered 50 Siemens locomotives at InnoTrans 2024

Founded in 2024, Vienna-based Green Mobility Partners aims to be a new player in the European rail logistics and leasing market, launching at InnoTrans 2024 the order for a batch of 50 Siemens Vectron multi-system locomotives, capable of operating in most European countries. A first firm order consists of 5 locomotives, the first two having already been delivered in March.
Locomotives 1293-201 and 1293-202 have been received and already handed over to the companies that leased them, the first to CT Train and the second to IDS Cargo, transport operators in the Czech Republic. Mobilitate.eu photographed the first Green Mobility Partners locomotive at the station in Breclav, Czech Republic. This is customized in the scheme that will define the operator’s locomotives, however, depending on the companies where they will be rented, other customized graphic schemes are possible.
