DPB Rail Infra Service GmbH secures safety certification to start operations in Hungary. The Austrian company can now operate and rent rolling stock for Hungary as well
On April 1, 2025, DPB Rail Infra Service Hungary Kft. officially obtained its safety certificate. This certification confirms that the Hungarian subsidiary meets all essential safety requirements for railway operations, as outlined by EU Directive 2016/798 and national regulations. It validates the company’s robust safety management system (SMS), ensuring compliance with European railway standards and safe transport operations on Hungary’s rail network. This achievement marks another significant milestone in the global expansion of DPB Rail Infra Service International.
Since June 12.06.2018, XNUMX, DPB Rail Infra Service GmbH has had the commercial authorization (transport license) to provide freight transport services as an independent railway undertaking, or “EVU” for short. The safety certificate, which proves that all requirements for ensuring safe transport operations have been met, was issued for freight transport with effect from 13.08.2019 August XNUMX.
